Kobelt styringer og manøvresystemer

The Safest and most Reliable Solution for Control Systems

Kobelt Marine Control Systems

Incredibly solid components manufactured with fine mechanical accuracy down to 1 thousandth of an inch, ensure flawless function in all conditions.

Kobelt control systems are known for their durability and performance. The success is based on extensive use of non-corrosive materials throughout the product range. The dominant material used in all controls is bronze. By avoiding the use of materials such as plastic, zinc, aluminium and steel, the controls are placed in an exclusive class in terms of materials and workmanship.

Robust and reliable manoeuvring systems and controls have been delivered to thousands of vessels across the globe.

Classifications
As Kobelt became more and more widespread, the classifications followed. Such as the ABS Type approval Program, DNV-GL for Hydraulic rotor and Lloyd’s Register are some of the classifications that come with a Kobelt product.

We offer

Kobelt Marine Control System to Everyone

With products ranging from electronic control systems to the well-known push-pull technology, Kobelt’s systems make it easy and straightforward to get around.

The systems are adapted to specific needs in order to increase your safety and experience of controlled management.

We recommend

If you want to control 1 or 2 stations, we recommend that you use Push-Pull controls. If you have 3 or more stations, the Push-Pull control may work – but in general, we recommend that you use electronic control.

Push-pull or an electronic control ?

Push-Pull is a mechanical system. Using cables to connect control heads to the clutch and throttle lever. If the total length of the cable is less than 50 feet (15 meters), push-pull may work for you. If the cables need to have many bends, or the connection length is more than 50 feet, an electronic controller will be the best choice.

Some vessels with 80 feet push-pull cable might work well. If you need more than 50 feet for a push-pull system, please contact us

Please state:
The number of cable bends
Cable length
The number of stations

We’ll then give you our recommendation.
